Andrew later returned to Russia to perfect is artists' skills. His works began selling successfully throughout the United States as Andrew was participating in group exhibitions and French auctions. In 2000, Andrew Atroshenko's artwork sold out. A highlight of his career was when Sotheby's auctioned off some of his pieces in 2002 and 2003. Almost as impressive as his paintings, Andrew Atroshenko began life ready for education and art. Born in 1965, in Pokrovsk, Russia, Atroshenko was a descendent of farmers. In 1977, the Children's Art School accepted Andrew as a gifted student. Four years later in 1981, Atroshenko graduated with honors. It was then that the now world renowned artist began his trip through the most prestigious Art Colleges in the World. Shortly after he graduated from St. Petersburg Academy of Art, Andrew was invited to New England where he found his passion, desire and goals.
Andrew married his love, Maria and together they bore a daughter named Alexandra. While all artist have many inspirations, Andrew's passion comes mostly from his wife and child. Maria is an Art Critic in Russia.
