I voted for #7: Not sure, but I distrust the US media portrayal.
If that option wasn't available, I would probably have chosen #4, stating that he is somewhere between an authoritarian and a populist.
If I was forced to choose between #2 and #3, I would probably come down on the side of "champion of the people." Any leader is going to be somewhat authoritarian, but do they use that authority to try to improve things for regular people? or to maintain the status quo?
Anyway, I could be wrong, which was why I went with #7.
