I love the recipes with a little history, like these sugary chocolate chip cookies. The fact is we were visiting, eating at my cousin and, as always, ended up talking kitchen with his wife, who told me I had a recipe for some delicious cookies prepared in a jiffy.
The conversation went in another direction, but to my surprise, when coffee time on the desktop came, I began to smell of freshly baked cookies. Had prepared in little more than what it takes to clear the table and making coffee! So I asked for the recipe, and share with you today.
The process for making these cookies is very simple. In a bowl, we started working the butter with the sugar until blended. Then add the egg and milk, and continue mixing until a homogeneous cream.
Then add the flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt and a few drops of vanilla essence (this is optional, they are delicious as well). Mix with a fork or a whisk, also adding the chocolate chips. We just need with your hands.

Finally, we split the dough into small cookies (then grow in the oven) shaping with hands, and put them on a tray with baking paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes in a preheated 180 degree oven and let cool on a wire rack before serving.

The cookies sweetened with chocolate chips are delicious. Biscuits are halfway between the classic butter and “cookies”, which carry more flour. Ideal to take with coffee or breakfast.
