The islands with their white sand beaches and turquoise waters seduce us. Some have them on their desktop computers as a screensaver or as a desktop background. Others treasure the photos they took on a remote trip and we all dream of traveling to one of these destinations to rest, sunbathe, dive or interact with the local inhabitants. Today we propose you seven paradisiacal islands in which to fall in love with summer.

The list could be almost infinite because on our planet there are many destinations full of attraction in which we can feel like a Robinson Crusoe without giving up the comforts that the hotel industry offers us. This is a selection that we could complete with your suggestions, if you want to propose us some other destination in comments.

1. Cozumel, Mexico

We begin with Cozumel, it means land of the swallows in Mayan language- which is located in the state of Quintana Roo, in the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico. It is an easy destination to discover paradise. It is a protected area, ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving. Nearby, you can also go to Isla Mujeres, another proposal full of tourist attractions.

2. Island of Vis, Croatia

The island of Vis in Croatia is really a jewel in the Adriatic Sea. In it you will not find as many visitors as in other parts of Croatia such as Hvar or Split, the capital of the area of Croatian Dalmatia. It is worth discovering this point so close to our country.

3. Malapascua, Philippines

The island of Malapascua is located in the Philippine archipelago, just north of the island of Cebu. It is a small island very conducive to the practice of sport diving, where you will have the chance to see the shark fox or Threshere Shark.

4. Bird Island, Belize

If you want to feel totally alone, this is your island, which, as we already told you, can be rented through the platform. It is about Bird Island a small islet located in Placencia, a department belonging to Belize. If you have Robinson’s spirit this is your destiny.

5. Islands of the Uros, Peru / Bolivia

The islands of the Uros, located within the Titikaka Lake between Peru and Bolivia is fascinating for those who want to live a different tourist experience with which to cause envy to all travelers. It is a peculiar archipelago of 60 islands, which the Uros built with reeds. They are floating islands located on the largest lake in the world. The islands are strong and spacious enough to support the weight of the approximately 1,200 local inhabitants and the tourists who visit them.

6. Crete and its pink sands, Greece

Crete is the largest island in Greece and is full of tourist attractions, beyond the legend of the Minotaur and the thread of Ariadne. Among other points of interest, sun and beach lovers will enjoy the beach of Elafonisi with its peculiar pink sands.

7. Roatán, Honduras
