When you’re in college there are a lot of classes that you need to stay on top of, but you might want to get into some clubs that help you to feel connected and passionate about the school that you’re attending. There’s a lot of clubs that may help you to get through all of the stress and anxiety that comes from being a college student and add to your overall enjoying of your college experience. If you don’t feel like you relate to any of the people you live with, whether its in the dorms or an apartment, and you don’t find it easy to make friends with any of your classmates, then you might want to join a club. Most schools have tons of clubs that you can join and there is sure to be one that excites you and speaks to your passions. If you find a club that is dedicated to one of your major interests, then you’re bound to make friends with likeminded people.

When you are in college, whether your earning USC’s masters in library science or UCLA’s BFA in music, it’s likely that you will start to feel disconnected with your body. You are spending so much time idol in a seat that it can be hard to get enough exercise to stay energized and fit. Sometimes you don’t need to join a club because it will help you with your desired career but because it gives you an outlet for some of the hobbies that you like to pursue for fun. This can be a great way to decompress from all the pressure and structure of a lot of the academics that you’re taking on. If you feel relaxed and at ease when you spend time with this club, then it could be a great antidote to all the stress that you feel from all of your other classes.
